On April 10th, a work report meeting on the compliance governance of cosmetics online business was held in Beijing. Xu Jinghe, a member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the National Medical Products Administration, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

At the meeting, relevant subordinate units of the National Medical Products Administration reported on the recent situations of online monitoring of cosmetics, complaints and reports related to online cosmetics, and online monitoring of public opinion. Ten members of the Alliance for Coordinated Governance of Safety Risks in Online Cosmetics Network Operations introduced the work situation of compliance governance in online cosmetics operations.

The meeting fully affirmed the effectiveness of the compliance governance work, analyzed the new situations and problems existing in the current supervision of cosmetics' online business operations, and further clarified the tasks of cosmetics' online business operation supervision. The meeting emphasized that great importance should be attached to the particularity of cosmetics' online business operation supervision, the responsibility of third-party platform management should be strengthened, the role of the safety risk co-governance alliance should be fully exerted, and joint efforts should be made to enhance the quality and efficiency of cosmetics' online business operation governance.
